Do I need a ChatGPT Plus account to use the API?

No. You don't need a ChatGPT Plus account to use IntelliBar. You do need an OpenAI account, but if you have ever used the free ChatGPT, you already have one.
Does it work with GPT-4?

Yes. IntelliBar supports GPT-4. It also uses OpenAI's latest DALL-E, TTS, and Whispers models when you use IntelliBar to generate images, turn text into speech, or turn speech into text.
How does it work?

On first launch, IntelliBar will prompt you to enter an OpenAI API key. The API key is what allows IntelliBar to access OpenAI's API on your behalf. You can have multiple API keys, and you can revoke them at any time. Once you enter an API key, you can start using IntelliBar.
How much does it cost?

It depends on how much you use it. You can track your usage in the OpenAI dashboard, broken down by model. You can also set a monthly budget limit and a soft limit to get notified when you are close to your budget — ex: you can set a monthly limit of $8 and a soft limit of $4.
